The White Sox scored four runs in the seventh inning Monday night to win 12-10 over the Twins in regular season Babe Ruth action at Waltman Russo Field.

In the game following the White Sox victory, the Blue Jays narrowly defeated the Brewers, 5-4, in six innings.

White Sox 12, Twins 10

Zack Lunsford started the scoring for the White Sox, scoring on an RBI single from Chase Short. Lunsford reached on a double.

The Twins answered later in the first inning on an RBI single from Zack Turvin to score Mason Wood.

In the third, the White Sox scored three runs on a two-run home run from Short and one run on an error.

In the bottom of the third, the Twins got the lead back scoring four runs.

Later in the fifth inning, Rhett Cook and Devin Coon both scored on RBI singles from Jordan McCleland and Conner Livings to bring the game at 6-5.

The Twins added two more runs in the fifth to gain a 7-6 lead going into the sixth inning.

The White Sox and Twins scored two runs apiece in the sixth inning before the late charge from the White Sox in the seventh.

Later in the seventh, the Twins managed to add an additional run, scoring on an RBI double from Taylor Messick.

Short earned the win for the White Sox on the mound, pitching 3.0 innings and allowing seven hits, five runs, five earned runs and two walks while striking out two.

Blue Jays 5, Brewers 4

Winston R. started the scoring for the Blue Jays in the third inning, plating a run on an error.

The Brewers answered with a run scored by Stewart Studstill.

The Brewers added three runs in the fourth inning to take a 4-1 lead over the Blue Jays.

The Blue Jays’ Cody H. hit a two-run double in the fifth inning to bring the score to 4-3.

Cody H. and Andrew B. later came around to score on stolen bases and errors.

Colter Herrington earned the win for the Blue Jays, pitching 7.0 innings, allowing five hits, four runs, four walks and striking out nine.
