Mrs. Creel was born Dec. 7, 1917, in Andalusia, the daughter of the late John Nelson Woodham and Virgie Hornsby Woodham. She had retired from Fieldcrest Mills, formerly Muscogee Mills, after many years of dedicated service.
She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She never met a stranger or let a guest at her home leave hungry. We will forever be grateful for the wisdom she so freely shared with us. Granny, thank you for everything.

Survivors include her daughter, Sheron Morgan of Columbus, Ga.; two grandsons, Ricky Draper and Robert David Draper, both of Columbus, Ga.; brother, Chester Woodham of Kingston; a granddaughter, Mackenzie Draper of Columbus, Ga.; sister-in-law, Foy Woodham of Andalusia; a daughter-in-law: Doris Creel of Columbus, Ga.; two special nephews, Michael and Ricky Woodham of Andalusia; several other nieces, nephews and friends.
