Mrs. Audrey Williamson Blackmon, 57, a resident of Brantley, died Tues., Aug. 18, 2009.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday at the Chapel of Turner Funeral Home with the Rev. William Leverette officiating. Interment will follow in Liberty Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing.
Mrs. Blackmon is preceded in death by her parents, Gay and Nola Mae Williamson, and three brothers, Virgil, Randal and Malcolm Williamson.
Survivors include her husband of 16 years, John David Blackmon; one son, Michael S. Compton; one grandson, Keegan Compton; four stepchildren, Cary (Donna) Blackmon, Dusty Blackmon, Brandy (Jason) Howard and Shana (Steven) Mosley; eight step-grandchildren, Tyler, Presley and Cory Blackmon, Katlin, Ashton and Abbi Howard and K’ley and Landon Mosley; and a sister, Evelyn (Mervin) Schofield.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
