Mrs. Ruth Barton, 81, of Andalusia, died Mon., Aug. 17, 2009, at her residence.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. today at Foreman Brown Service Funeral Home with the Rev. Fred Karthaus officiating. Interment will follow at Bethany Cemetery.
Mrs. Barton was preceded in death by her husband, James “Nibby” Barton; sisters, Grace Davis Spears and Ann Campbell; and brothers, Leland Davis and George Olan Davis.
Mrs. Barton is survived by nephews, Dale (Laura) Spears of Andalusia, Eddie (Carol) Davis of Santa Rosa Beach, Fla., and Jeff (Bobbie) Davis of Andalusia; and special great-nieces, Grace Spears and Ashley Spears of Andalusia.
Pallbearers will be Eddie Davis, Pete Owens, Doug Johnson, Ted Watson, Claude Summerlin and George Gantt.
