Tommy G. Dozier, 79, of Smyrna, Ga., died Sat., Sept. 5, 2009.
Funeral services will be held in Smyrna today, Wed., Sept. 9. Burial will follow at Georgia National Cemetery with military honors.
He was a native of Dozier, Ala., and a long time resident of Cobb County, Ga. He retired from Lockheed after 40 years. He was a member of the American Legion Post 160 for 35 years, and was an avid fisherman and golfer.
He is survived by his daughter, Lynn Dozier of Smyrna; a son, Walter Steven Dozier of Smyrna; his brothers, Noel Dozier, Reginald Dozier, Sammy Joe Dozier and Maurice Dozier, all of Dozier; four grandchildren, Ramona Danielle Daniel, Stephanie Dozier, Casey Dozier and Chyene Dozier; and several nieces and nephews.
