Willie Carl Whatley, 93, of the Loango community died Mon., Sept. 14, 2009, at his residence.
Graveside services were held Tues., Sept. 15, at 2 p.m. from the Old Bethesda Cemetery in Loango. The Rev. Dennis Knowles officiated.
Mr. Whatley is survived by a daughter-in-law and son-in-law, Mary Lois and Cecil Worley; three grandchildren, Rickey and Donna Davis, Tim Whatley, Randall and Regina Whatley and Heather Worley; six great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Ruth Whatley; a son, James Whatley, and a grandson, Tracy Davis.
Pallbearers were Ryan Davis, Kip Whatley, Lavon Bullock, Rickey Davis, Tim Whatley Randall Whatley and Mike Dubose. Those unable to attend may sign the online guest registry at foremanfuneralhome.com.
