Jonathan Redd threw three touchdown passes and ran for another score as Mobile Christian defeated visiting Red Level 41-15 Friday night.

Redd, who finished 12-of-20 passing for 183 yards, opened the scoring with a 30-yard touchdown pass to Taylor Hardy in the first quarter, then ran for the 2-point conversion and an 8-0 lead.

In the second quarter, wide receiver Payton Wasden hit Ryan Stephens with a 28-yard touchdown pass to build on the lead. It was the first of three touchdown receptions for Stephens in the quarter. He also caught scoring passes of 26 yards and 12 yards from Redd as the Leopards built a 27-7 halftime lead.

Stephens finished with four catches for 79 yards but left the game with an injury.

Mobile Christian tacked on two scores in the second half on Travis Rohm’s 49-yard interception return and Redd’s 10-yard run. Redd finished with 51 yards on 13 carries.

The Leopards held Red Level to 98 total yards and forced five turnovers.

Red Level (2-5, 0-5 in Class 2A, Region 1) travels to face Leroy next Friday.
