Claris Hilda Arredondo, 83, passed away Oct. 16, 2009, at Fort Walton Beach Medical Center in Florida.
Mrs. Arredondo was born Nov. 26, 1925, to Curtis and Rochelle Bennett in the Straughn community. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Dalton Bennett; her husband, Albert J. Arredondo; and her son, Michael Arredondo.
She is survived by her sister, Peggy (Tom) Samuels of Enterprise; daughter-in-law, Linda Arredondo of Fort Worth, Texas; sister-in-law, Vivian Bennett of Monroeville; as well as a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
A visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday at Davis Watkins Funeral Home, 8 NE Racetrack Rd., in Fort Walton Beach, Fla. Complimentary valet parking will be provided. Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. in Mt. Zion Methodist Church Cemetery in the Straughn community.
