Mr. John Gray “Buddy” Sansom, 82, of Kinston, passed away Tues., Oct. 20, 2009, in Mizell Memorial Hospital in Opp.
Mr. Sansom was born Jan. 25, 1927, in Alabama. He was a welder by trade and a veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Loyette (Day) Sansom; son, John Scott Sansom; daughter-in-law, Denise Sansom; and grandson, Alex Sansom, all of Opp.
Funeral services will be held at Wyatt Funeral Home today at 1 p.m. with Alvin Sheffield and Stewart Young officiating. Burial will follow in Kinston City Cemetery.
