Classes in each of the county’s three school systems will continue as normal unless the situation surrounding Tropical Storm Ida changes.

Andalusia Superintendent Dr. Beverly McAnulty said officials would monitor the situation and make a decision by 5:30 a.m. on Tuesday of whether or not to change the school schedule.

Opp Superintendent Michael Smithart and Covington County Superintendent Terry Holley said no substantial changes are in the works; however, buses may be slower due to rains and road conditions.
