Mr. Gary Patterson, 59, of Red Level, died Tues., Nov. 10, 2009, at his residence.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., today, at the South Church of God with the Rev. Steve Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be at the church 30 minutes prior to services.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda Patterson; his daughter and son-in-law, Stacey and Benny Joyner; his son and daughter-in-law, Dane and Chelise Patterson, all of Red Level; his grandchildren, Bethany Rose Patterson, Ashlyn Grace Joyner, Tyler Benjamin Joyner, Reagan Bryce Joyner and Kayden Bryleigh Patterson; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Mac and Abby Patterson of Red Level, Richard “Junior” and Frances Patterson of Andalusia, and Randall Patterson of Andalusia; his sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn and Bere Beverly of Red Level; a sister-in-law, Rhonda Patterson of Red Level; several cousins, nieces, nephews, and other family members, as well as brothers bound through bonds of friendship and love, Joe Griggs, Thomas Hendrix and Lamar Lawson.
Mr. Patterson is preceded in death by his parents, Shelby and Elzady Smith Patterson, and his brother, Robert Patterson.
Pallbearers will be Lamar Lawson, Tracey Nichols, Thomas Hendrix, Gary Musgrove, Cecil Worley and Didge Lawson.
