Mr. James A. “Jim” Taylor Jr., 64, of Andalusia, died Mon., Nov. 16, 2009, at his residence.
He was a graduate of Auburn University and retired from the Alabama Department of Industrial Relations.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m., today at the First United Methodist Church in Georgiana. The family will receive friends today at 10 a.m. at the church.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Jay and Lindsay Taylor of Gulf Shores; his daughter, Hayden Taylor Davis of Gulf Breeze, Fla.; three grandchildren, Emery Davis, Jamison Davis and Caroline Taylor; and his long time special friend, Frankie Lancaster of Andalusia.
He is preceded in death by his parents, James Alfred Taylor Sr., and Mildred Taylor.
