Mr. Morris Edwin “Skeeter” Rabren Sr, 81, died Sat., Nov. 21, 2009, at his residence. Funeral services were held Tues., Nov. 24, at Foreman Brown-Service Funeral home with Minister Ben May officiating. Music was provided by Joy Sowards and Lori Fuqua.
Mr. Rabren is survived by his wife of 61 years, Betty Jo Rabren of Andalusia; his son, Morris “Eddy” (Opal) Rabren Jr.; his daughters, Tina (Phillip) Gantt, Margo Chesser, all of Andalusia and Claudette Perdue of Dalton, Ga.; seven grandchildren, Thomas (Sonja) Grimes, Lori (Seth) Stewart, Danielle (Shaun) Mitchell, Scotty Rabren, Courtney Chesser, Beau Chesser and Missy (Aaron) DeVore; eight great-grandchildren, Brittany Grimes, Natilee Mathews, Shelbee Mathews, Caden Stewart, T.J. Grimes, Catelyn Mitchell, Miley Mitchell and Winter DeVore; his sisters, Vonceil (Pat) Thompson of Andalusia and Lucile Brawner of Montgomery; his brother, Vester Blair (Irene) Rabren of Hattiesburg, Miss.; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Mr. Rabren was preceded in death by a brother, Morgan Rabren.
