Miss Amber Nicole Straughn, 11, passed away Mon., Dec. 28, 2009, in the Andalusia hospital.
Funeral services were held Thurs., Dec. 31, at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. John Hunt and Judge Ashley McKathan officiating.
Survivors include her father, Tommy Straughn of Andalusia; her mother, Lisa (Charlie) Chance; grandparents, Gilmer “Boots” and Vera Walker; aunts and uncles, Kathy and Lamar Everage of Andalusia, Robin and Kenneth Compton of Brantley, Rebecca and Eugene Ainsworth of Andalusia, Marsha and Robert Ammons of Montgomery, Linda and Leland Watson of Jacksonville, Fla., Jeanette and Johnny Hinton of Jacksonville, Fla., and Ken Walker of Red Level; many cousins; and special caregivers, Wynne Straughn, Leann Godwin and Nicki Glass.
Pallbearers will be John David Straughn, Jamie Straughn, Hunter Straughn, Todd Godwin, Adam Godwin and Chuck Brogden.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Andrew; grandparents, Burnette and Patricia “Papa and Maw-Maw” Straughn; and cousin, Brandy Ainsworth.
