Mrs. Erma Nell Ray Henry, 86, of Andalusia, died Thurs., Dec. 31, 2009, in a local nursing facility.
Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m., today Sat., Jan. 2, 2010, at Andalusia Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. Tim Trent officiating. Interment will follow with Foreman Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.
Visitation will be after 10 a.m. today at Foreman Funeral Home.
Mrs. Henry was a lifelong resident of Andalusia and lifelong member of West Highland Baptist Church. She and her husband, the late James Henry, owned and operated James Henry’s Grocery and Market for many years. She also worked for many years at Leon’s Clothing Store. One of the happiest moments of Mrs. Henry’s life was when she was crowned Ms. Andalusia Manor for 2008.
Mrs. Henry is survived by daughters, Carol (David) Moore of Andalusia and Barbara (Terry) McShane of Pensacola, Fla.; grandchildren, Allison (David) Stroud, Meredith (Tim) Jordan, Melody (Paul) Holmes and Matthew (Christine) Brigham; and six great-grandchildren.
