Students in Andalusia City and Covington County Schools returned to school today after two weeks of Christmas break.

School officials said a number of parents showed up with their students at schools yesterday, Mon., Jan. 4, only to learn that the day was a teacher inservice day, not a regular school day.

Unless another bout of inclimate weather disrupts the school schedule, the next planned holiday is Martin Luther King day later this month.
