Nathaniel Vaughn Cooper, 22, of Prattville, died Fri., Jan. 15, 2010, at a Montgomery hospital.
Funeral services will be held at noon today, Tues., Jan. 19, from the First Pentecostal Church, with the Rev. Tony Glass officiating.
Burial will follow in Prattville Memory Gardens with Prattville Memorial Chapel directing.
Nathaniel was a beloved son, brother, grandson, uncle and friend who had a zest for life and a love for his family and friends. He was a student at Prattville High School and graduated from the Job Corps in Pine Knot, Ky.
At the time of his death, he was a licensed arborist with Davey Tree Service in Montgomery.
He is survived by his mother, Karen Cooper (Jeff) Jones; his father, Mike Cooper; one sister, Michelle (Mark) Aplin; two brothers, Brandon (Miranda) Cooper and Joshua (Stephanie) Cooper; maternal grandmother, Annette Paulk; paternal grandmother, Vida Cooper; four nephews, Austin, David, Conner and Joseph; three nieces, Alita, Kyla and Anastasia; one stepbrother, Chaney Jones; one stepsister, Makenzie Jones; several extended family members; and numerous friends.
The family will receive friends this morning one hour prior to the service at the First Pentecostal Church. Those unable to attend services may give online condolences at prattvillememorial.com.
