On Tuesday night, the Opp Bobcats fell to Brewbaker Tech in area play 60-41.

“I was proud of our effort in a 19-point loss,” Opp coach Ronnie Sansom said. “We’ve been kind of struggling with execution lately, but I think we’re heading in the right direction.”

The Bobcats (4-15, 1-6 in Class 4A, Area 2) will host Bullock County on Friday.

Opp earned its first area win over Bullock County on Dec. 18, outscoring their opponent 46-41.

“Bullock is going to come in here ready to avenge that loss,” Sansom said. “Hopefully, we’ve kind of gotten the bat out of our system to where we can put together a complete game.”

Tip off Friday night for Opp will be at 4:30 with the B-team.
