Ralph Wayne Welch of Enterprise, Ala. passed away, Tues., Jan. 26, 2010, in Medical Center Enterprise. He was 71.
Funeral services will be held at 11a.m., Fri., Jan. 29, 2010, at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with the Rev. David Shepard officiating. Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home directing.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7:p.m., Thurs., Jan. 28, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Battens Volunteer Fire Department, 8838 County Rd. 636, Enterprise, AL 36330.
Surviving are his wife, Merl Welch, Chancellor, Ala.; daughter and son-in-law, Trina Gordon (Roger) Opp, Ala.; sons and daughters-in-law, Mark Welch (Marybeth) Troy, Ala.; Clay Goddin (Kellie) Navarre, Fla.; Kenneth Goddin, Ponce De Leon, Fla.; Freddy Goddin (Trish) Ponce De Leon, Fla.; five grandchildren; two brothers and sisters-in-law, John Harold Welch ( Polly Ann) Kinston, Ala.; Kenneth Welch (Debra) New Port Richey, Fla.; sister-in-law, Amada Welch, Panama City, Fla.; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
