Mrs. Mildred Hassell Bowman, 93, of Andalusia, died Tues., Feb. 16, 2010, in the Andalusia Manor.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., today, Fri., Feb. 19, at the Southside Baptist Church with the Rev. Bill Pritchett officiating. Interment will follow in Smith Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at Southside Baptist Church. Foreman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include her daughter, Harriett Phelps of Andalusia; her son-in-law, Emmett Morris; stepchildren, Susan (David) Southwick of Birmingham and John Bowman of Montgomery; her grandchildren, Chris (Melissa) Morris, Sherry (Wayne) Baggett, Danny (Tina) Elmore, Michael Turner and Patrick Turner; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Frances (Bill) Styron of Foley.
Pallbearers will be Wayne Baggett, Bo Baggett, Chris Morris, Danny Elmore, Jon Bowman, and Dave Southwick.
She was preceded in death by husbands, Walter Hassell and C.C. Bowman; and daughter, Peggy Morris.
