John Henry Shakespear, 61, passed away on Feb. 18, 2010.
Born to the late Amos Sr. and Sibbie Blue Shakespear on May 9, 1948, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Amos Shakespear Jr. and Charles Shakespear, and one nephew, Stanley Shakespear.
He was laid to rest Wed., Feb. 24, in Marshall Memorial Cemetery with Marshall-Hammond Funeral Home directing.
He leaves to cherish his memory two daughters, Temika Perry of Andalusia and Candace Thompson of Smyrna, Ga.; two brothers, Willie (Lena) Shakespear of Andalusia and Howard (Sandra) Shakespear of Decatur, Ill.; three sisters, Louise Shakespear, Shirlean (Joseph) Robinson, both of Andalusia, Betty (Issac) Patton of Huntsville and one sister-in-law, Loistine Shakespear of Boyington Beach, Fla.; three aunts, Myrtle Johnson, Minnie Ola Shakespear and Virginia Shakespear of Andalusia; as well as a host of nephews, nieces, great-nephews, great-nieces, relatives and friends.
Pallbearers were his nephews and classmates and flowerbearers were his nieces and classmates.
