PowerSouth has lifted the high water notification for area lakes.

As of 3:30 p.m. today, the tailwater readings at Gantt and Point A were 7.05 feet and 23.46 feet, respectively. Tailwater flow is the hourly average of the river flow just downstream of the hydro plants, measured in cubic feet per second. PowerSouth has 11 feet of gate open at the Gantt Hydro and 31 feet of gate open at the Point A Hydro.

“PowerSouth personnel continue to monitor conditions on the lakes and manage resources with extreme caution,” said Mark Ingram, PowerSouth Communication Manager.

Real-time information about the Conecuh River at Point A dam is available on PowerSouth’s Web site, www.powersouth.com in the Newsroom section.
