A fire completely destroyed a Babbie home Saturday.

The vacant home, which was located at the intersection of Oliver Taylor Road and U.S. Hwy. 84, was up for sale.

Firefighters believe an electrical fire caused the blaze; however, no official determination was released.

Units from both Babbie and Sanford volunteer fire departments responded to the fire shortly after 10:30 p.m., only to find the home completely engulfed in flames.
