The Pleasant Home Lady Eagles beat Opp Monday night, 8-4.

Kayla Woods was 3-for-3 with four runs.

The game was tied 4-4 in the sixth inning, and the Lady Eagles scored four runs in the seventh to get the win.

Woods, Megan Cook and Robyn Weaver all singled and Emily Byrd walked.

All four came around and scored.

Brentin Fuller was the winning pitcher.

Fuller had 10 strikeouts, two walks and gave up six hits in seven innings.

“I was proud of how we busted open a tight game in the seventh inning,” Pleasant Home coach Jimmy Reeves said. “We are still giving up runs too easily. We made a lot of mental errors, and we are not good enough to continue to overcome those kind of things.”
