The Pleasant Home Eagles softball team suffered a 3-0-road loss to Ariton Tuesday night.

Ariton scored three runs in the fourth inning to get the win.

Pleasant Home’s Emily Byrd earned the loss. She struck out nine batters, walked three and gave up three unearned runs.

In a more positive note, the junior varsity team came out with a 3-2 win over Ariton.

Pleasant Home’s Jade Self earned the win for her team pitching the entire game.

Cailee Jernigan was 3-for-3, and she lead in hitting.
