Two Andalusia men were arrested last week for allegedly smoking marijuana in front of four small children, ranging in age from 1 to 4.

Drug Task Force agent Lt. Paul Hudson said a Covington County Sheriff’s Deputy attempted to serve civil papers at the Lunsford Trailer Court in Opp.

According to the deputy, “when they opened the door, the odor of marijuana came boiling out of the residence,” Hudson said.

DTF agents were contacted and consent was given to search the residence, where agents found marijuana and other drug paraphernalia.

Arrested and charged with four counts of chemical endangerment of a child and possession of a controlled substance were 27-year-old Jarvis Eldrich and 26-year-old Frederick Bozeman of Montgomery.

Bozeman also faces an additional charge of failure to comply with the Community Notification Act.

Eldrich was held on a $1,010,500 bond; Bozeman, a $1,020,500 bond.
