Hilda Brogden Sharpe, 94 of Andalusia, died Mon., March 29, 2010, in Panama City, Fla.
Funeral services will be held today, Thursday, April 1, at 3:30 pm from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel and interment will be in the Able Cemetery with the Rev. Wayne Sharpe officiating.
Visitation will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Foreman Funeral Home.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Donnie and Glenda Sharpe of Niceville, Fla.; daughter, Sue Ellen Sharpe of Panama City, Fla.; grandchildren, Cindy (Tom) Kilgore of Kennesaw, Ga., Bud (Inday) Sharpe of Guam, and Melissa (Steve) Cody of Pace, Fla.; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Ed Brogden of Montgomery; and four sisters, Betty (Bill) Baldwin, Mary Sue (Alan) Brown, all of Andalusia, Ettie Jo Gilmer of Lewiston, N.Y. and Maxine Thomas of Atlanta.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Emmett Sharpe; her parents, Edward H. and Bess Brogden; a brother, Carroll Brogden; and sisters, Janis Vanstory and Hesta Little.
Memorials to the charity of one’s choice or to the Emerald Coast Hospice will be accepted.
