Sixth-ranked Pleasant Home beat Elba Thursday night, 13-3 in six innings on the road.

Emily Byrd earned the win pitching five innings, and Jordan McGee got the save pitching one inning.

Leading hitters for the Lady Eagles (11-7) were Caylee Jernigan and Ashley Copeland with two hits each.

Pleasant Home’s junior varsity team will play in the Andalusia Spring Fling tournament today at 4:30 p.m. against Straughn.

On Saturday, the varsity team starts Andalusia’s tournament at 8 a.m. against Greenville at the Andalusia Sports Complex.
