Country Club to hold open house, kid’s clinic

Andalusia Country Club will open its doors to the public Sat., May 8 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. for its annual open house event.

Club PGA golf pro, Howard Battey, will offer a free golfing “kid’s clinic” from 11 a.m. to noon for ages 10 and up.

Only 50 kids will be admitted for the clinic, call 222-5282 today to reserve a spot.

The open house will highlight the many amenities included in a family membership at the Country Club. These include unlimited golf with no green fees, use of practice facilities, and unlimited use of the swimming pool, tennis courts and clubhouse. Members also have access to the Club’s 25-m swimming pool and adjacent children’s pool, as well as the cabana and dressing facilities.

Pool parties and kid’s activities are scheduled during the summer months.

The Country Club Restaurant serves full meals during lunch and dinner Tuesday through Sunday with specials each day. The club boasts several dining options including the traditional dining room and bar room.

The bar room has a wonderful bar and casual seating where sports enthusiasts can watch any game via big-screen TV.

The ball room offers a beautiful setting for larger parties, banquets, meetings and wedding receptions.

Initiation fees were drastically reduced from $2,500 to $500.
