Henry Alex Douglas, 85, of Andalusia, died Sat. April 17, 2010, at his residence.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Wed., April 21, at the Pleasant Home Baptist Church with the Rev. Fred R. Kelley and the Rev. Fred J. Kelley officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be tonight from 5:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Foreman Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife, Flonell Douglas of Andalusia; his sons and daughters-in-law, John and Linda Douglas and Ray and Leada Douglas of Baltimore, Md., David Alton and Betty Hamby and Bill and Elise Hamby, all of Andalusia; his daughters and son-in-law, Margie and Bill Casey of Mobile and Barbara Jean Goodman of Baltimore, Md.; 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Patricia Ann Wood, and he was the last of nine siblings.
The family would like to express their appreciation to Comfort Hospice and all of the friends and family who are too numerous to mention and who were there for them during his sickness and death.
Pallbearers will be John Douglas, Robby Douglas, Andy Primeaux, Louie Goodman, Alex Hamby, Alan Primeaux and Gene Williams.
