She was born in Fayette, Ala., the daughter of the late Clarence and Annie Lou Hassell Fowler. She was a homemaker.
Survivors are her husband, Cliffton Lee Mason of Florala; son, David Calhoun of Opp; daughters, Joy Ryals and Darlene Todd, both of Opp, and Brenda Pernell of Geneva; sister, Liz Shelee of Fort Pierce, Fla.; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; a special niece, Lori Carter; and nephew, Thomas Calhoun.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Fri., April 23, at Evans Funeral Home with the Rev. Terry Godwin officiating. Interment will be in the Clear Springs Cemetery.
