City officials opened bids Tuesday morning for the River Falls Street project. Wiregrass Construction was the  apparent low bidder for the project at $3.005 million.

The city also received bids from Moody Construction and APAC Construction.

The city council is expected to award the bid at its Tuesday night meeting.
