Morgan Palmer has been selected as Miss Teen Alabama World 2010. She will be competing in the Miss Teen U.S. World pageant in Houston, Texas, June 21-26. The State Director for Miss Teen Alabama World is Geoff Tucker of Birmingham. The Miss Teen World Pageant is directed by Gaspar Cruz of Houston Texas, and includes many countries worldwide. The winner of the Miss Teen U.S. World will go on to compete in the World pageant in August.

Palmer is the daughter of Steve and Jennifer Palmer of Andalusia and the Granddaughter of Jay and Rhonda DuBose of Dozier, Susan and Ronnie Seay of Geneva, and the late George and Evon Palmer of Andalusia. She is a junior at Andalusia High School, a City of Andalusia ambassador and is employed with Beau Monde Boutique in Andalusia.

She has chosen Meredith’s Miracles as her platform for the Miss Teen World pageant and hopes to bring recognition to this organization on a state, and hopefully, a nationwide level. She is the national spokesperson for Meredith’s Miracles and has been a “Miracle Worker” for the past two years.

She has been actively involved with events supporting Meredith’s Miracles such as character birthday parties and playing the role of “Belle” at “Cookies with Characters.”

Palmer said she is excited about the pageant and her goal is to bring the national title home to Andalusia.
