LLOYD EUGENE GATEWOOD

Lloyd Eugene Gatewood, 59, of Wing, passed away Sun., May 16, 2010, in a Pensacola, Fla., hospital after a brief illness.

He was a native of Brewton, a former resident of Belle Glade, Fla., and a longtime resident of Wing. He was of the Protestant faith and a retired welder/pipe fitter.

Funeral services will be held Wed., May 19, at 11 a.m. at Bradley Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Pat Brinn officiating and interment following in the old Bradley Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Brewton directing.

Visitation will be held tonight from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Bradley Assembly of God Church.

He is survived by his wife, Karen Gatewood of Wing; son, Johnathon Martin (Hila) Gatewood of Wing; daughters, Antonia Michelle (Gloria) Gatewood of Austin, Ala., Trisha Gatewood (Jim) Ogden of Millburg, Fla., and Malinda Gatewood (Clark) Metzger of Pensacola Beach, Fla.; and grandchildren, Haley Kelley, John Ogden Jr., Luke Gatewood, Austin Gatewood, London Metzger, Lydia Moore Metzger, Genny Metzger, Marrecht Metzger, Amy Metzger, Beau Metzger and Christian Metzger.
