The Covington County Commisison Monday signed off on  agreements with the state department of transportation to resurface a 1.6-mile portion of County Road 18, from U.S. Hwy. 331 to County Road 89, at a cost of $219,500; and to resurface a nearly three-mile stretch of County road 89, from County Road 10 to County Road 18, at a cost of $468,450. Monies from the federal highway stimulus package will be used to cover the cost of the projects
