When the Covington County Habitat for Humanity gets ready to build in Florala, the city hopes to be ready.
Monday, the city council began preparations to donate a parcel of property on Cypress Street to the local non-profit.
Mayor Robert Williamson said research must be finished to determine if the parcel could be split into two sections before the transfer can be made.
