Four teams earned wins Tuesday night in 11-to-12-year-old Cal Ripken action at Johnson Park.

The A’s defeated the Giants 11-3; the Twins earned an 18-6 rout over the Reds; the Yankees (County) beat their city rival 15-0; and the Indians defeated the Cardinals 10-4 in the 7:30 nightcap.

A’s 11, Giants 3

The A’s strutted out to a 4-0 lead in the first inning when D. Scott, C. Dorman, J. Perdue and H. Carpenter all scored on triples.

The A’s added four runs in the third inning on three hits.

In the third inning, Dorman, D. Jordan, Perdue and Carpenter scored for the A’s.

In the top of the fourth, the Giants got on board scoring two runs.

C. Gunter scored on an RBI triple from B. Wright. Wright later came around on a single from J. Sutton.

The A’s scored three runs in the fourth inning to seal the win over the Giants.

Scott, Perdue and A. Kelley scored for the A’s in the fourth.

The Giants scored their last run in the fifth inning.

Scott, Dorman and Carpenter scored two runs each; Perdue scored three runs; and Jordan and Kelley scored one run each for the A’s.

Reid Adams, Gunter and Wright scored one run each for the Giants in the loss.

Twins 18, Reds 6

The Twins scored nine runs in the sixth inning in their 12-run victory over the Reds Tuesday night.

Earlier in the game, the Twins scored two runs in the first inning, five runs in the second inning, one run in the third and one run in the fifth before their impressive scoring drive in the sixth.

J. Hawkins scored four runs; G. Worley and C. Hudson scored three runs each; B. Hammett and C. Cosby scored two runs each; and J. Rogers, M. Worley, P. Thomas and H. Peeples scored one run each for the Twins.

The Reds scored one run in the first inning, one run in the second inning, two runs in the fourth inning and two runs in the sixth.

Dedric Walker and John Graham scored two runs each; Lane Sirmon and Justin Gibson scored one run each for the Reds.

Yankees (County) 15, Yankees (City) 0

The Yankees (County) scored nine runs alone in the first inning to help them be on their way to a 15-0 rout over the Yankees (City) Tuesday night.

The Yankees (City) couldn’t get anything going behind the plate, as Yankees (County) pitcher S. Jones allowed no runs on two hits and struck out nine batters.

The Yankees (County) added six runs in the fourth to claim the victory, and end the game early.

D. George and J. Driver scored three runs each; E. Wood and Catrett scored two runs each; and Jones, T. Ballard, C. Channell, C. Harris and M. Lanier scored one run each for the Yankees (County).

Indians 10, Cardinals 4

The Indians scored four runs in the first inning, one run in the second, third and fourth innings and three runs in the sixth to come away with the victory over the Cardinals Tuesday night.

The Cardinals scored two runs in the third inning and two runs in the fifth inning in the loss.

Weaver, Greathouse, Torres and S. Mitchell scored two runs each; and Baker and Wiggins scored one run each for the Indians.

Madison Ward and Sim Bowden scored one run each; and William Piggot scored two runs for the Cardinals.
