The 13th annual Opp Dixie Baseball Memorial Tournament has already begun, but there will be plenty of great baseball action to see today and Sunday at Merchants and Senn Fields in Opp.

The tournament consists of teams in the 15-to-16-year-old, and 17-to-19-year-old Babe Ruth age groups.

In the 15-16 age group, the Opp Pre-Majors, Wiregrass Colts, Covington County, Troy and Wiregrass Cardinals will compete.

In the 17-19 age group, Covington County, Greenville, Wiregrass Colts, Opp and Wiregrass Cardinals will compete.

The tournament will start today at 9 a.m., and games will continue at noon, 3 p.m., 5:30 p.m. and 8 p.m.

Sunday’s games will start at 1:30 p.m. with each age group playing three games apiece.

Cost of admission is $3 per game, $5 for a day pass, $2 for students and $10 for a tournament pass, which will get spectators in for the whole tournament.
