The Covington County Children’s Policy Council Coalition has been awarded a $2,300 youth literacy grant from the Dollar General Literacy Foundation.

The CPC will use the funds to further their literacy and basic education outreach efforts.

The Dollar General youth literacy grant provides funding to schools, public libraries and nonprofit organizations for the implementation or expansion of literacy programs.
