JEAN W. SHARP

Jean W. Sharp passed away Wed., Sept. 15, 2010, at Bay Medical Center.

She was born in Panama City, Fla., to the late Ben Stevens and Elizabeth Sandy. She was a loving wife and mother, as well as a property manager for 45 years.

Survivors include her husband, Roy C. Sharp; a brother, Lewis Stevens and wife, Linda of Andalusia; two daughters, Peggy Livingston and husband, Robert, and Cindi Hammond of Panama City, Fla.; and one son, Marc Hammond of Hudson, N.Y.

She was predeceased by one daughter, Nesia Colbert.

Mrs. Sharp had six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and three loving nephews. The family would like to express their gratitude to Dr. Dent and Dr. Banton for their many years of care and their emotional support over the past months.

The family requests in lieu of flowers that donations be made a charity of your choice in her memory.

STEVE BRENT PERDUE

Steve Brent Perdue, 59, of Andalusia, died unexpectedly Mon., Sept. 20 in Destin, Fla. Funeral services are incomplete and will be announced later by Keahey Funeral Home.

BONICE JONES STOKES

Bonice Jones Stokes, 88, of Andalusia, died Fri., Sept. 17, 2010, in a local hospital.

Funeral services were held Mon., Sept. 20, at Cedar Grove Church of Christ. Interment followed at Cedar Grove Cemetery with Foreman Brown-Service Funeral Home directing and Ministers Doug Williams and David Paher officiating.

She is survived by three daughters, Jeanie Metzger of Andalusia, Dorothy Stokes Gullberg of Houston, Texas, and Judy Stokes of Andalusia; six grandchildren, Elizabeth Lee Hendricks, Matthew Hendricks, Quentin Hughes, Aaron Hudson and his wife Courtney and their son, Tyler, Grant Hudson and Lana Hudson; and brother, Hoyt Jones of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, L.C. Stokes who died in 1991.

Those serving as pallbearers were Aaron Hudson, Grant Hudson, Quentin Hughes, Phillip Hudson, Robert Lee Holley, Chris Jones and John Holley.
