A domestic incident nearly turned deadly Wednesday morning when a Red Level man allegedly traveled to his estranged wife’s workplace and shot out all four of her vehicle’s tires.

Chief Deputy David Anderson of the Covington County Sheriff’s Office said specific details surrounding the 5:30 a.m. incident at Wages Market-Café are being withheld until a complete investigation can be conducted.

No one was injured, and Anderson said deputies took the man into custody without incident. He has been charged with domestic violence; however, additional charges are pending in the case.
