Mr. and Mrs. John W. Bryan of Rose Hill are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Kathryn Bryan, to Ashley Butler, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Rhett Butler of Andalusia.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Lorene Bryan of Rose Hill and the late D.J. Bryan and Eunice Lowman of Dozier and the late Roston Kenneth Lowman.

She is a 1996 graduate of Straughn High School and a 2000 graduate of Troy State University, where she earned a bachelor of science degree in business. She is employed at Kennedy Logging, Inc in Brantley.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Lorena and Raeford Daughtry and Irene Butler and the late Ray Butler, all of Andalusia.

He is a 1996 graduate of Straughn High School and a 2000 graduate of Auburn University, where he earned a bachelor of science degree in business. He is currently employed with Quality Carriers Inc.

The couple will exchange vows at 4 p.m. on Dec. 4, 2010, at Harmony Baptist Church. All friends and family are invited to attend.
