Local Opp businesses who show off their Christmas cheer may be rewarded.

The Downtown Redevelopment Authority encourages local businesses to decorate their storefronts and exteriors of the businesses in Christmas décor.

Local merchants are asked to include decorations that the public may enjoy at night.

The DRA will award the top three participants with cash prizes – first place, $300, second place $100 and third place, $100.

All businesses must sign up with the DRA no later than Mon., Dec. 13, and judging will be held Wed., Dec. 15.
