The W. Robert Brown Outstanding Graduate Committee, which operates under the umbrella of the Class of ’48 Foundation, is seeking nominations for the 2011 AHS Outstanding Graduate award.

The group presents the award each year to a graduate of Andalusia or Woodson High School.

Nominees should have made significant contributions to the state, nation, or community.

Another distinguishing quality would be contributions to worthwhile community, social, or religious causes.

The nominations must be made to the committee; the committee cannot nominate.

Forms are available at Andalusia High School, The Andalusia Star-News and Andalusia City Hall. The deadline for the 2011 presentation will be Feb. 1.

The 2011 presentation will be made at homecoming at Andalusia High School and is followed with a reception and presentation at city hall following the homecoming parade.
