The Opp Lady Bobcats beat Pleasant Home on Thursday night 45-34.

Opp led 16-11 after the first period, 27-14 at half time and 34-21 at the end of the third period.

Mary Schwartz led the Lady Eagles with 12 points. Emily Byrd and Erica Bullard scored five points each.

“I thought we had two great periods,” PHS girls coach Kelley Garner said. “The first period was the best we’ve played yet.

“In the fourth period, we came back on an run and cut it to seven with three minutes to go,” she said.

In junior varsity action, the Lady Eagles won 34-11.
