Florala boys basketball coach Brad Garner said he’s still searching for where the offense is coming from after his team fell to Samson 58-40 on Monday night.

“We did not come out well,” Garner said. “We are still trying to figure out where (what player) our offense is coming from.”

The Wildcats were outscored 21-9 in the first period, trailed 34-20 at half time and were down 49-31 at the end of the third period.

“We’ve got to figure out how to put points on the board,” Garner said. “Right now, we’re struggling with it.”

J.B. Burleson led Florala with 11 points, and Colt Jackson added eight points.

In B-team action, the Wildcats lost 28-15, and in girls varsity action the Lady Wildcats lost 70-34.

Justina Clissold led the Lady Wildcats with 11 points, and Mariah Thompson had nine points.

Florala will travel to play Red Level this Friday night.
