Andalusia’s Lady Bulldogs beat Pike County on Tuesday night, 64-36 at home.

After a week of no games, the Lady Bulldogs (6-4), much improved on the offensive side of the ball played well, girls coach Bennie Shellhouse said.

Alexis Horton led Andalusia with 22 points, and Shi’Amber Townsend chipped in 12 points.

Shellhouse said he noticed his team’s rebounding looked better.

“We were in good position,” he said.

Andalusia will travel to play Hillcrest-Evergreen on Friday night.
