The Andalusia Animal Shelter is making it super easy to bring an animal home for the holidays today.

Shelter director Christin Ball said the shelter is hosting an adopt-a-thon where the only cost to adopting an animal is any type of donation from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m.

“The only thing we ask is that your donation is not of pet food,” Ball said. “We have plenty of that. Our goal is to make sure these animals have a nice home for the holidays.”
