Churches to hold Christmas Eve services

In tune with the Christmas season, local churches will hold candlelight services to commemorate the birth of the Savior.

Christmas Eve services abound in the area, and all visitors are welcome.

Those services The Star-News has been alerted to, include:

• A Christmas Eve service to be held at Florala’s First Presbyterian Church-PCA, beginning at 5:30 p.m.

• A Christmas Eve mass at Christ the King Catholic Church, beginning at 7 p.m.

• A Christmas Eve candlelight service at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church at 5:30 p.m. The Rt. Rev. Phillip Duncan, bishop of the Diocese of the Central Gulf Coast, will preside.

• A Candlelight communion service at West Highland Baptist Church, held at 5 p.m.

• A Christmas Eve and communion service at Andalusia First Presbyterian Church at 5:30 p.m.
