Dodge, dip, duck, dive and dodge.

Andalusia’s baseball program will play host to a dodgeball tournament this Sat., Jan. 15, at the high school gym.

The double elimination tournament will be played in a similar style to the film version of “Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story,” AHS baseball coach Jonathan Rasberry said.

Rasberry said the money raised will go to help the AHS baseball program, and people ages 13-and-up can participate.

“This would be a good way for the parents who want to hit their own kids in dodgeball,” he quipped.

The cost per team is $50, and each team can have 10 people compete for the $200 cash prize. During the tournament, six players from each team will be competing with six players from another team.

Registration will begin at 9 a.m., and the tournament will start at 10 a.m., and last until approximately 1 p.m.
